“Respect” is a street art festival for youth that takes place every year in Rishon Lezion. “Respect”, is an event in which a cultural space is created based upon respect- respect for creativity and respect for people. Freedom of creation, lack of judgment, the inclusion of every person regardless of the background from which they came, are the values upon which this event is based. The festival is spread out over a large public space in the heart of the neighborhood and participants can tour in “Freestyle” and Spoken-word poetry, graffiti exhibitions, break dance circles, art workshops, alternative display spaces and more. Over 300 teens and young adults attend the festival every year.
